By the time students reach elementary and middle school, they should be increasingly competent readers with a growing ability to comprehend age-appropriate text of any kind, express themselves in writing, and present themselves verbally.
However, this is too often not the case. While a myriad of influencers impact a child's course in life, it is difficult to overstate the importance of language and literacy skills.
Children who are weak in reading and communication have little chance of mastering any subject. It is difficult to comprehend a science lesson if you can't fully understand the textbook or the directions in a homework assignment.
Leap Learning Systems' programs for School Age children target students who struggle academically and work to bring them up to speed, but not just in a particular area of study.
