Volunteering with Leap Learning Systems is a meaningful way to invest in your community. It can also be very educational as you experience some of the best language and literacy development programming in the country in action.

Volunteers are a driving force behind the work that we do. Our volunteers average a few hours a month, but collectively contribute 40 hours to the organization each month – the equivalent of a full week’s work. Whether you find yourself helping at a program, in the office, or planning a fundraiser, your donation of time and talent will make an important organizational impact.

Leap Learning Systems regularly has volunteer opportunities available at program sites and at our office in downtown Chicago. Some are suited for volunteers with experience in the field of language development, but for most you simply need a little time and the desire to contribute.

• Help in the office with filing, data entry, program preparation, and major mailings
• Test children participating in Leap Learning Systems programs
• Be a guest speaker at one of our program sites
• Assist at a professional development training

Please note, Leap Learning Systems strives to match volunteer interest with an organizational need. If you are interested in volunteering for a project that is not listed, please share with us what you have in mind on the volunteer application. Our opportunities and need for volunteers changes often. While not all opportunities listed above are always available, we will make every effort to situate you in a rewarding volunteer project that meets your interests and talents.
